To improve your post content, consider the following SEO tips:
When people are searching for results on the Google Search Engine, they are shown three things:
i) First of all, your post title.
ii) Then, your post URL or permalink.
iii) Below the permalink, the snipped view of your post or the meta description.
For your post title:
a) Your post title is the most important part of your post and this is the part that is highlighted most to the users. So, try to give post title that will make sense to your audience and your audience will be attracted to read it.
b) Google will put the maximum weight on the first few characters of your title, so make sure that all the relevant keywords appear in the beginning of your title. The first 60-65 characters (first 5-9 words) are the most important.
c) Give unique post title for each of your post.
d) You post title should have your primary keywords atl.
c) As indicated by Yoast, your post title should be in the following format: Your post title>Categories>Website Name.
d) Always make sure that your post title has H1 heading.
For your post URL or permalink:
a) Give proper permalinks to each of your posts. The best thing to do is to remove the post ids and replace it by post name or categories.
b) Remove all the stop words in your post URL. Stop words are ‘a, an, the, etc.
iii) The snipped view of your post or the meta description.
a) If you do not specify a meta description, Google will by default take the first 150-160 characters of your posts and display them as your meta description. However, the first few lines of your post might not reflect the summary of your post, thus either you should modify your first few lines or you should add appropriate meta description.
b) Write short relevant meta description that gives a clearer picture of what your post is all about.

c) If you are someone, who constantly update your website, then you should include date in your meta description. Audience always wants to read those posts that are recently updated rather than the old ones.
In addition to the above, the other aspects that you should consider are:
1) First of all, give appropriate keywords for your posts, especially choose the most relevant focus keyword.
2) Then, give appropriate tag for each of your posts.
3) Also, give alt tag for each of your image. It is often ignored. However, it will help you in driving a good amount of traffic through the image searches.
4)Headings are like structure to your content, so you should not ignore giving appropriate heading to each of your content. Make sure that after your title (which has H1 heading), your sub-headings should be H2, and sub-sub headings should be H3, and so on, etc. (Do not have 2 H1 headings)
5) The sidebar title and footer title should follow the headings as H4, H5 and H6 and should never be H1, H2 and H3.
