Do you worry about how to accelerate your energy level? Motivation is not something which comes naturally to someone. It has to be inculcated. You will be motivated only when you know that your efforts will fetch you some rewards and in turn will help you achieve your goal.

When you study Organizational Behavior they tell you the same thing. Rewards motivate individuals to work harder. This is what all the theories of motivation tells you. The satisfaction comes only when they see that any kind of work being done by them will lead to their ultimate goal. But these are just theories. Being motivated 24*7 is not so easy in actual day to day life. Motivation and being productive takes a lot of effort.
I am not someone with lot of positive motivation. After all I am a human being and I have my ups and down, I do feel low and high as per my situation and with all my humility I have an acceptance full acceptance of my situations. But then, there are times when I really want to put in all my hard work but somehow the motivation doesn’t come from within. In such situations, I try out any of the following two methods.
The first and foremost thing I do is that I create my environment. For example, if I am planning to write an article, I make sure that I have my Laptop handy with me and time which i have chosen is distraction-free. I make myself comfortable and start off with some light thoughts about my subject. I do not think of writing a very long article. Instead I just jot down the points which will help me in keeping the flow of my article. Then, I try to expand my points. Soon I realize that I have been able to write a good quality article at the end. Hence, it is important not to make things huge and difficult to achieve. Apply the minimalistic approach. Once you gain your momentum, your work engagement will keep accelerate the motivation.
The second approach which I apply is when I am feeling too low to take up work. In that case, you should consider the following. You can kill some of your time to read about people who are more successful in your field and how they achieved it. Knowing about the hard work that they have put in and reading how they overcame their failures, will energize you to pursue your own goals. This formula works in most of the cases.
Instead of wondering for the whole day about why you are not feeling energized enough to work, you should allot some time to know successful people of your fields. This will also boost up your energy to a great level. You can even do a comparative study of how much you need to achieve in order to reach a substantial level. This methods works for most of my time and it also increases my awareness about how other people achieve their goals.
Approaches to accelerate your Energy Level:
Apart from the above two methods, below are some of the approaches that you might follow on a day to day basis:
1) Have a scheduled plan for the day.
2) Keep up some spare time for meditation
3) Have an organized environment for work.
4) Have a weekly, monthly and yearly list for accomplishing your goal.
5) Try to do one thing at a time and do not overwhelm yourself by multitasking.
6) Give yourself some relaxed time when you just recollect what you have accomplished for the day.
7) Reward yourself for doing something that you have accomplished in a shorter span of time.
8) Try to do some R&D on how you are going to accomplish your goal.
9) Be disciplined, organized and happy in what you are doing.
10) Do not fear experimenting with your strategies or taking risks. A calculated risk is well putting the effort. Do not shy way for the fear of failures.
The above will indirectly help you in motivating and it surely does help in keep your energy level high if you follow them religiously. Being motivated is a disciplined act. It needs effort from your side.
